Not-Completely-Mythical Creatures

My name is Gwendolyn.  I am a mythical creature expert.  Some mythical creatures, as told in stories, don't exist.  Others do.  The creatures of whose existence I am sure include Unicorns, Centaurs, and Gnomes.  Some mythical creatures whose existence I am quite sure are completely mythical include Argopelters, Vampires, and Werewolves.  One day, I will compose a post on which mythical creatures I believe are real and my reasoning.

Very often I go on outings to see what I am able to discover about the whereabouts and lives of mythical creatures.  While not everything can be found doing "field research", other sources are often useful.  These sources include the internet, the library, old photographs, and "legends."

Legends had to have come from somewhere.  And where did the great creatures come from that are often listed in the stories?  I believe that stories from the past are not quite as exaggerated as we humans make them out to be.

I will leave you to that thought.
